On May 9th, 2024, Taylor and Cailyn, beekeepers with the Montreal based company Alvéole, executed a routine colony splitting at the Westmount Public Library in Montreal Quebec. This preventive measure aimed to deter colony swarming and resulted in the establishment of three new colonies from the original hive.
